HX-ZDP950 is a kind of new type orga no phosphate flame retarda nt developed by our company,which is shaped in white flow powder.This product exhibited little solubility in water and comm on orga nic solve nts.Its main characteristics in elude high content of phosphorous,free halogen and good compatibility with polymer.

III.Product Application

Characteristics:high content of phosphorous;free halogen;good polymer compatibility,especially with the polyester system,which has very little influence on physical and mechanical properties of polyester;also can be used in the halogen-free flame-retardant modification of polyester film and polyester fiber,especially the fabric and film of PET system;good compatibility with resin.

In a word,HX-ZDP950 is a kind of flame retardant widely used in thermoplastic and artificial fiber.Its effect of flame retarding is very significant,especially for the polyester.What is more,it can be used in the field of injection moulding and comm on fiber as well.When applying to PET,its addition should be 5%to 10%approximate!y.If adding 5%,LOI of the flame-retardant material can reach over 30%.When applying to PBT,mixingHX-ZDP950 with nitrogenous flame retardant(for example,Melamine Phosphate or Melami ne Cyan urate)at a conce ntratio n of 10%to 15%can make the material reach Level UL94 V-0(1.6mm and 0.8mm in thickness).In the system of PET,a small quantity of flame retardant is enough to reach Level UL94 V-0.

While,the amount of the flame retardant's adding may be different according to different polymerization degree of polymeric material,processing conditions and addition of the glass fiber.Firstly HX-ZDP950 should be melted at temperature above 200°C,and then mix it with the melting polyester.
